Jeremy Lin on Coach McHale...and the rest of the staff

True, although a pretty cynical point of view to take.

Also, this would be a crappy method for sucking up... he does one of these little press interviews after almost every practice or game, just as McHale and Harden do. I seriously doubt the coaches would ever hear it or care about it unless he said something controversial.

 

Here we go again...

 

Let's leave the projection of fan's feelings into commentary in New York, please? The team is playing well and no real drama or controversy seems to be in the locker room. Let's leave it at that.

 

It's interesting that Lin is praising the coach for giving him so much freedom, and that LOFs biggest criticism of McHale is NOT giving him any freedom.

It's a shame you got such crap feedback. I'm sure Jeremy himself would be shaking his head at some of the comments in here.

Some Jeremy fans have a ball on their hands the entire game and they expect Lin to have it too.

Both Lin and McHale have had to figure a lot of things out this season and want to do well by each other.

McHale, who's been around "young kids" at home as well as in the league, is well aware of the pitfalls of distraction. Jeremy happens to be an interesting and multidimensional guy who probably genuinely appreciates the coaches very much for keeping him focused. He seems like an easy going and good natured person who doesn't think badly of others, so it wouldn't be surprising if he isn't even trying to be PC.

 

I don't see what he's done to be branded such a hypocrite. Seems like an honest kid to me.

 

McHale has done a great job keeping Jeremy Lin focused on basketball and away from such distractions as church and Jesus.

 

Probably one group went to some club to pick up girls and the other group just had dinner and hung out.

 

I think Lin only has two greatest love: basketball and God; three, if you count in his family. The Lin household is like your perfect white christian family- hard-working, principled, God-fearing. Romney must be proud of them.

I would not consider my husband and I LOFs -- as we followed James Harden here from OKC.

But we've really grown found of the Houston organization and all of the players.

See Carol, not all of Lin's fans are as smart as you. They'll continue to think the worst of the worst, so long as it fits their fantasy (or wet dream), regardless of any facts. They have gone full tard with conspiracy theories... and we get to witness it all day, err day on CF

 

To be fair, about half is just straight trolling rather than conspiracy theorists. Although it can be hard to tell the difference these days.

 

the question was not even about the coaching staff. he could have not even brought them up so i think its the truth.
