I guess the team won and Lin did well is making you unhappy?

What's settled about the PG position is that Lin plays well with BOTH the starters and the second unit. If anything, his "benching" (as a result of his flexibility / versatility) was meant to provide space to incorporate Beverley (in order to give him substantial minutes) and to give Lin the additional role of backup Shooting Guard to Harden when Harden sits / Beverley stays on the floor.

The "PG" / "SG" position on the Rockets is the deepest with a 3 guard rotation of Harden, Lin and Beverley (not to forget Brooks and Garcia). OP is right... the only positions left dealing with is the Power Forward position / Asik's "role". Lin will be fine as a facilitating starter or a scoring bench general.

I'm guessing that Morey is waiting for Dec 15th so he can trade Lin+Asik for Josh Smith + Billups.

Dwight has been Linsanitized lol. But he is right, Lin needs to play confidently and stop worrying about missing his shots or giving Harden/Howard touches.

Let me spell it out for Howard:

Most PEDs can boost taker's confidence. Lin should go that route.

So, we are just going to act like Lin isn't a FA next summer?

Asik did my fantasy team 0 favors. Dropped him for Miles Plumlee.

Should have held on to him because I think he gets traded sooner than later to a team that needs a center and a team that's gonna play him 28 minutes per game

That'd be a big NO NO. Coming playoff time, I want our rim protected 24/7, and Dwight can't do that by himself.

If Miles Plumlee is just now being picked up, you don't play in a very competitive league.

Scoring isn't the thing holding this team back.
