Lin would change his number to accomodate Melo if he stays... no big deal either way. Barkley changed his number... as has Shaq...
Well that's a slippery slope. No player should ever complain about anything because they make a ton of money?
I blame ESPN. They need f*** off and stop creating all these non-stories to cause trouble. Why is this even a big deal?
It's just a number. he is getting paid millions to play the game he loves. horry and sam getting traded after giving their souls to bring triumph to houston, now that is devastating. those guys had the right to b**** and complain. But these players who wear the glorious red, they've accomplished nothing. your jersey numbers mean nothing.
melo wears number 7 better photoshop him in a different number so that our 2nd string PG wont get his feelings hurt and start spittin out bible verses

No, I am saying why should the average fan care if he complains. I am don't care about what hurts his feelings.
Yea, he shouldn't have been vocal if he got the heads up. That's absurd. Now he's just using the media as his XANGA account.
I am not a LOF and I am even glad he is going to leave sooner or later but I think this move is an example of terrible terrible PR. I think he is so darn right on this, since he is still a part of the Rockets organization after all. And what if Carmelo doesn't choose us and Lin stays here for 1 more year? SMH.
Is 7 available in Philly? Lets photoshop Lin in his soon to be home. I don't feel bad for him, he gets the be the face of a franchise again, has money, and is in a great sports town. Philly. Fans should be happy for him. Sorry it didn't work out here.

Lin's #1 demand of the team that signs him in free agency next summer: You do not now and never will have any interest whatsoever in signing Carmelo Anthony.
