Sura was badass...i still remember how that team used to roll their hands like they were throwing dice everytime they hit a three! That was a fun team!

Lin Faints!:grin: Say what you will about his shooting, but Bob Sura was a tough mutha...he made a lasting impression in his short time here for a reason. One of my all-time favorites.
Lin is an elite passer in a way that Sura wasn't. Sura certainly had some fire to him that Lin could use (though Lin is SUPER underrated in this area, he's a feisty defender). People saying that Lin doesn't stack up to Bobby are just fooling themselves with nostalgia. Yeah, we get that all the LOFs are super annoying (trust me, I agree), but let's not hate on Lin himself because of it. Lin is going through a shooting slump for the first eight games of the season, hardly a referendum on the rest of his career. He is miles ahead of Sura in potential Loved Bobby, but Lin is a special player.

Very comparable. Agreed, op. The Sura + Cassell backcourt @ FSU was fun to watch, as well as their respective careers with the Rox.
