I've tried to give Lin the benefit of the doubt, but there is no defending him after tonight's debacle.
Absolutely soul crushing. How do you let that happen in that situation. I've thought he gets too much criticism at times, but there is no defending him here. He lost this game for us with another boneheaded play.
Easy to blame Lin right now, and he deserves it. But Portland is just showing that they're the better team. And it sucks
Quite the opposite. This series has showed us that these teams are as even as it gets, and it's boneheaded plays like this that are the difference.
3rd game in a Row Lin's thrown away (or Almost) - Tonight he should of called timeout after we secured the Rebound up by 2. - Last Game he missed a crucial Lay-up that would of put us up by 5 - Game 2 we're down by 3 with like 30 something Seconds left and Lin intentionally Fouls. We Should probably be the ones up 3-1 right now. Smh We Still Have a Fighting Chance to Win the Series though.
It was a bad TO by Lin after what looked like a promising rebound and possession. I think it's fair to say that this mistake probably cost the Rockets the game. I do think Williams was out of bounds, but the ball has to be protected in that situation with the lead.
Only way Lin redeems himself if he plays great the next 3 games and we win all 3. Absolutely inexcusable how stupid he was for not passing it off or holding on to the ball. Even though Mo Williams was out of bounds
