    This. Everyone and their mother knows that Lin has weak handles.

    Yet he is out there handling the ball in this kind of situation.

    True, McHale should have been calling timeout like crazy, up 2, with 2 timeouts, and possession of the ball and 18 seconds left. OMG, he just has terrible situational awareness and he puts in Lin, who also has terrible situational awareness.

    His situational awareness is just awful, he has no concept of what the team needs in a particular moment late in games.

    It is just staggering really how often he makes a choice that is just mind numbing...the guy is super smart, but basketball wise not so much.
