    Jeremy Lin just checked in at Vegas. I am guessing he is there for the summer league. Did not check in with the Knicks. He just checked in to the Golden Nugget when other Rockets players were checking in. All the Rockets players are at the Nugget. Coincidence? Does anyone know if he is there to sign his deal with the Rockets or is something going on we don't know about?

    NO, rockets never presented Lin a contract to sign yet. They get 3 days after to match

    no guarantee he's a knick, after accepting our offer sheet. probably just posturing to help him get matched tomorrow. also, golden nugget is owned by fertitta. probably gifted him a room as a "welcome to houston" pitch for the offer sheet he signed.

    It starts 3 days after he signs the offer sheet, which he hasn't done yet. He's expected to today.

    Funny. I tweeted Mark Stein that Jeremy is at Rockets team Hotel and he just tweeted reliably informed Lin in Vegas to sign offer sheet. Only I asked him if he knew what he was doing there?
