I can see that. I'm kind of getting over us not keeping Lin (and I'm trying to give morey the benefit of the doubt now). I guess in a perfect world, we would have kept lin and benched goran, let Lin develop, then use him or Goran along with Scola in a trade. But that would never happen b/c it just goes against logic. Oh well.

Well, people were sore about the draft pick situation with the Knicks, not neccessarily wanting Lin back; those seemed to be two separate issues.

The real loser here is Les. He could have kept the 'China's Team' aspect going for another ten years and milked every yuan available from it. Now it's the Knicks and their international capitol NewYawk that will benefit from any international appeal Lin brings with him. Les will have to capitalize on Scola and Dragic's overseas roots. :(

But this stuff is between him and Morey and McInhale.

Yao learned from the best, Les and Morey, about the depravity of men.

Really appreciate you for posting this. It was inspirational. I wish him continued success. I am a fan and will follow his career. I have often wondered if Yao is also a Christian as I am.

Can we just stop? It's over, we don't have Lin. Morey *&%#ed up he and everyone knows it. Now let's move on.

If Lin can keep up the pace, he will be a bigger draw than Yao simply because he easier to relate to than Yao due to size. Yao was abnormal in his size. The average fan can't emulate a giant on the court. Lin on the other hand is just slightly tall. The average person can relate to him. This is one of the reasons why Iverson was always so popular.

Hopefully Yao convinces Lin to re-join the Rockets for the MLE.

Yao's mentorship could work to the Rockets advantage. If he is still loyal to the Rockets, Morey could call him up for a favor.

Be a double agent and tell Lin about his injury prevention methods for his feet. If Lin breaks a foot, Shump the Chump is back at PG.
