I actually like the Beard... You cannot be a Lin fan without liking the team because the teams success is Lin's success and vice versa. If they want Lin solely as a spot up shooter and PnR with Howard thats what Lin will do, he doesn't start complaining he starts working. This is why I think Lin is such an important key, he can become the Steph Curry, the backup Harden and the pesky flopping Fisher all put together. Don't hate on Harden, he is an all star like Howard and one of the best SG in the league without a doubt, untouchable eurostep, strong, great shooter. Lin is a team player and will always do what it takes to make the team win.
