    Bingo.

He wants to play hero ball but he is just not good. No one wants a selfish scrub on their team.

The reason Bev is still in the league and still wanted by teams is because he knows what he can do help the team and plays within his role.

The reason Airemy is out of the league is because he never understood what his limitations were and did not work on improving his game. Why would any team that wants to win hand over the offense to Airemy so that he could run pick and rolls to pad his numbers? No one wants a scrub playmaker lol.

Which is why Airemy bounced around the league from team to team while Bev played for two teams and found home in both, with other teams that want to sign him as well.

Lol! At no point in Lin's career has he ever wanted to play hero ball. Ever.

And Lin is out of the league because he is unproven to be fully recovered from a devastating injury that at his age makes his ability to play questionable.

Bev is a great 3-and-D player. No argument about that from me. But he has never been as good of a traditional playmaking PG as Lin was during his NBA career.

I would say that Lin was a solid player, but never came close to reaching his potential. While Linsanity was fun for him, the NY Knicks (who's fans need the fun), and the national media, it was probably the worst thing that could have ever happened to him. It gave him a taste of super-stardom that he could never live up to.

Lin being a "playmaker" is kind of BS. Lin is a playmaker to the degree he's capable of being a playmaker. His NBA career speaks for itself. He was an all-world playmaker for a month, and the rest of his career, which was filled with opportunities showed that he is a mediocre playmaker. He decided that he wanted to be a mediocre playmaker that had the ball rather than a mediocre playmaker that focused on other things that would help his team just as much as his mediocre playmaking.

Pat Beverly may not be the best comparison, since he clearly has plenty of "issues"... like fouling out of games, getting into meaningless scuffles that hurt his own team, and playing overly-aggressive individual D instead of solid team D. That said, Bev would have NO NBA CAREER if he decided he was a "playmaker" at his core. If he did that, I wouldn't be surprised that he would be about the same level of playmaker as Lin was (minus that one amazing month).

I don't know anything about Lin being a "good person" or not. Like usual, my hunch is that he's probably somewhere between what you think and what his critics think. My best guess - he's a goody-goody and wants everyone to think he is "nice, and that often gets mistaken for "nice". He has the same ego that most everyone else has, which is completely normal. The difference for him is that he's smart and has never made a fool of himself in public, so it's believable that he's nice. Anyway, if you do good things, then actions speak louder than words. There are plenty of nice people in this world that don't do s***, and plenty of a-holes that make the world better.

    lol!

Scrub trying to go for a layup and be a hero when he needed to pull it back. Even his own announcers calling him out lol.

Airemy Lin telling Kobe that he likes to shoot game winning shots too. The scrub was actually trying to compete with Kobe haha.

Airemy Lin has always been a scrub.

Which is why he could never stick on any team for long.

Like I said, if he wasnt Asian, he would have been out of the league long ago.

LOFs hate players who replaced Lin as a starter because Lin got outplayed
And Carmelo Anthony who they should bend their knees to and worship cause if Melo didn’t get hurt there would be no chance bench player Lin would play
    And LOFs wouldn’t be born
    Kinda like an Ebola epidemic

You forgot he was crying about not getting a nba job after lots of failed stints and 65 million dollars ?
This dude is a fraud , many Clutchfans have seen out during his Houston days and in Vegas on many occasions

he played the Jesus card too many times to cover his mistakes and insecurity
We all know people like him except the 65 million dollar part
Really not rock bottom for a Christian
    Just for an egomaniac

Have to give credit to the Knicks organization.

As bad as that franchise has been with their decisions over the years, even they knew that that Airemy Lin contract was a mistake lol

Who bumped this thread on New Years ?
The LOF on false pretense that he actually cares about Rockets fans having a good new year

it would be a good new year on Clutchfans when it’s just purely Rockets fans and these trolls deleted themselves from this board

Agreed. The poison pill nature of the contract that would have pushed the Knicks into the luxury tax was clearly a contract that they rightly refused to match. Kudos to Morey for forcing the issue like that.

Even Knicks that have been handing out atrocious contracts left and right knew they better stay away from Airemy the scrub lol. Never went after him during his other free agencies either. They knew he was a scrub.

Also, kudos to Morey for realizing he had made a mistake with Airemy and then dumping him on the Lakers even if he had to get rid of picks to do so.

Worth it just to get rid of a scrub like Airemy that was a liability.

Pablo P. then showed how to play within his capabilities and actually contributed to the team in the playoffs without hurting it.
