Lin will get blown up by an athletic team (aka Miami) or an athletic guard (aka Rose before injure, Rondo)

I love Lin, but he isn't the one we need, unless Les is in for the money.

We sign Lin and trade for Dwight...Dwight sees how much $$$ he can make based on Linsanity, Dwight re-signs with Houston.

    1 in a 1,000,000 chance but f it

That's what was reported. Goran wanted the 4th year to be player option and Lin's is team option. Big difference there. The 4th year being team option makes this a much better deal than Goran's.

Damn I wish we can get him with no Dragic and Lowry. It has been a rough off-season so far. But not getting my hopes up b/c the Knick probably will match.

David Aldridge: Again, every indication I've gotten is that Knicks will match, even though offer is backloaded in a way to make it harder. Yahoo! first.

You wanted Lin. now you have him. Take him in and then be totally distraught when they match. No middle ground. All in on the cheers or all in on the jeers.

Sam Amick: Source with knowledge of the Lin offer sheet from Houston says it's "not 30 million."

Never said it was a good move. But if the FO really (and I mean really) want Lin, this is a possible move.

Of course Aldridge is the one to make sure the Rockets don't do anything. If the Rockets dont get Lin, do you should have done earlier this off-season - trade Scola and Martin and REBUILD!

@ESPNSteinLine: Source with knowledge of Knicks' thinking: "They will match any offer on Lin up to 1 billion dollars"
