Terms are immediately unknown on Lin offer sheet, but plan has been to backload money in deal. New York has vowed to match any offer.

There better be some linsanity every game if we gave him more than the original offer.

Hope we end up with him, as he instantly moves to the top of the list of my favorite Rocket players.

Kidd is not backup. He's a starter quality player. Why waste cap space on Lin and Kidd?

Trade the raptor pick them as an agreement to not match.

That doesn't sound nearly as cool...

Wouldn't count on it. Seems like a solid player, but this isn't an upgrade over what we had last season.

But I wasn't necessarily looking to upgrade at PG for this season either so...

I like the fact we're putting Chicago and New York's nuts on the dresser.

If we can't get better, we'll take all youse down with us!

Seen some Knick fans saying that Kidd will "mentor" Lin. Never really considered Kidd the mentor type. It'll be funny seeing Lin getting paid $10 million for 15-20
minutes a game, depending on how long Kidd is signed for.

At age 39 Jason Kidd has publicly stated that he was willing to be a backup at this point in his career.

hopefully. if we're really gonna backload the contract, the knicks may think it's too expensive and just sign felton for cheap. He did play great and averaged 17 & 9 when he was there, so I could definitely see them settling for felton for a cheaper contract, especially since they have kidd.
