Anyone see this quote for espn in a story about the Nets 4-0 start "And the loss of Keith Van Horn? Keith Van who? Richard Jefferson has easily replaced Van Horn's offense and then some. Jefferson merely had to appear to replace Van Horn's defense. What opponents are now discovering is that the Nets have a legitimate small forward with a quick, explosive first step who can be a nightmare to defend. For all of Van Horn's talents, a quick step wasn't among them." one of the funniest lines ever regarding van horns defense man and then even got to offload his contract aswell as his game (plus MacCulloch and his Ilgasukas feet)
I thought you were a KVH fan Smeggy? Personally I've always thought KVH should bulk up and play more pf. Jefferson has impressed me with his scoring so far, but those Marion comparisons are still very far-fetched. We'll see how he holds up for the rest of the season.
And the addition of Rogers makes up for Van Horn's knack for hitting set-shots (especially in the corners)...
