I have no problem bringing the guy in to compete with Savage. That being said, I still feel that trading for Jimmy G is our best option to win a Superb Owl this season.
Not your post there zee, but dumbass post is dumbass post. Guy had to include 2011 and 2012 because when they both started missing games his angle was blown out. Pathetic attempt at trying to make a point. Missed games in the last four years Cutler: 18 Romo: 21
The perfect fit isn't available. Cutler can sling it and move the ball down the field. We need offense and he can provide it. It's not perfect, but he's the best option. I would do this.
People sleep on Cutler. He is by no means a great QB but he can put up stats and move the ball. I'm tired of seeing maybe two 300 yards games a season. Cutler may throw some bad picks, but the man can move the chains. Hasn't been on great teams either.
Not disagreeing with you about Cutler. I truly don't know what he's capable of on the field. Just want to say that at one point, he had Forte, Marshall, Jeffrey, and Bennett on offense. On defense, he had Briggs, Tillman, Fuller, Jennings. On special teams, he had Hester. He's played with good defenses. Urlacher didn't like him apparently. He felt Orton should have stayed.
I feel like the best option is to sign Jay Cutler for this season, draft OL this season and draft a QB next season with a stacked QB class. Jay Cutler isn't that good and would probably be frustrating but he is better than Brock and probably Savage and we would have a good shot at the playoffs. Doesn't seem like it's gonna happen, but really seems like the right call to me.
Yep, just another point that drives that home. The ?? at this stage is if defering to O'Brien is any better.
I get that cutler has 0 leadership skills, but can't watt assume those responsibilities for the team and cutler just be a piece doing a service? His attitude might suck but winning will change that at Jesus Christ we can rely on savage and weeden man come on.
