    That bulls-eye comment totally applies.

Our bench is full of shooters! Daniels, Canaan, Terry, Kostas, Garcia and hopefully Dmo can get respectable. Last year we had crap shooters so hopefully our middling three point percentage will be top 5 this year.

Worth noting Terry has shot over 37% from 3 each of the last 3 seasons (and pretty much every year of his career).

Only 2 Rockets ecplised that mark last year - Brooks, who is no longer here, and Daniels, who played just a handful of minutes.
Safe to say he brings something we were sorely lacking last season!!

Could be a sneaky good addition for 5-10 minutes a night.

They were investing in their young guys instead?? He played 16mpg with Brooklyn last season.

He will not be called on to create his own shot.

It would be nice to have a veteran 3 point shot specialist to bring in. I expected Garcia last year to do so but he sucked. If Terry can then I am satisfied.

He's hit 2000 in his career 'in a game', including at ages 34,35,36.... there is reason to believe he could shuffle the zimmer frame over to the corner and knock one down every now and then isn't there?

    lol

I could see a defender having to guard Terry when he is in 3 point land and thus opening up the floor.

Because he wasn't really on the team. He was in Dallas rehabbing a knee injury.

Why couldn't that same defender guard Daniels?

Because Daniels is still a rookie. He's got 99 problems but a shot ain't one. Coaches would find it easier to plug Terry in there without hesitation.

Umm, he is 4th all time in made 3's, i think that qualifies for making them in a game.

I agree with you that Mchale may lean towards using Terry since he's a veteran (its the same reason why we won't see Nick Johnson for a while). However, I'd imagine that Daniels brings a little more the table in terms of defense, athleticism and ability to run the break.

Terry brings another veteran locker room presence, and i respect that. I would just like to see some of our younger guys get more minutes and continue to develop. Like others have stated, our bench looks weak, but it won't improve if we choose the limited veterans over the potential of the youth.

I am really hoping that Terry can be productive this season. I especially want to see him bring a dagger to Dallas a few times like he always used to do to the Rockets. That would be very entertaining.

He will not be a 6th man for us. Dude was trash/injured on the Nets and Kings, why should we expect any different now. If he is truly healthy, I don't expect anything more than spot minutes.

We know all these guys can do this in practice. The difference is that if Terry can hit them during the regular season, he's going to hit them in the playoffs. There will be no dropoff. He ain't no Luther Head.

That definitely was impressive & I'm really excited to see him do that during a game. However Garcia & Casspi were shooting really well at the start of last season, only to peater out after a couple of weeks into the season.
