@WojYahooNBA: Celtics rookie Jared Sullinger will miss the rest of the season with a back injury, league sources tell Y! Sports. He will need surgery.

This would never happen to Royce White.

That is the risk of drafting players with a history of injury issues.

I was in the camp of NOT drafting Sullinger. I thought there were too many question marks regarding his health and lack of height at his position.

I think I was wrong on the height part, Sullinger has played very well. The health issues I think may continue to be a problem but, I wish him well.

Wasn't his back the reason so many teams passed on him in the draft? I hope I'm not recalling that correctly, and I hope this isn't a recurring issue.

And this is why he didn't go high.

Yes. He was red-flagged by multiple teams because of his back.

@WojYahooNBA: RT @SeanGrandePBP: Jared Sullinger (+50 in the last 17 games while the team was -18) was leading the Celtics in +/- at the time of his season-ending injury.

Well, he would have had time to properly heal had the Rockets drafted him. I doubt he would have gotten very many minutes.

He did not slip because of his back. He slipped because of his 'bulging dicks'(!).

They should break up the team now - and trade us Garnett.

Shame. He was having a really good rookie season.

Can't feel confident saying that he's going to have a long career. If his back is already causing him problems like this, he's not going to last. Sad, but true.

It's times like this I really wish Rondo hadn't gotten injured. This would have been an ideal time to offer up one of our young bigs to Boston in exchange for Avery Bradley.

Sadly, if Bradley was even remotely available before the Rondo injury (probably not), then he's pretty close to untouchable now unless a major piece was coming Boston's way.

I think Bradley is as available as ever. Bradley is a nice rotation piece but not someone they will build around. While we probably do not have the piece to make a 1 for 1 deal, I could see the Rockets getting involved in a 3-way.

At this point Ainge almost has to blow it up. It is time.
