It's not gonna happen. Watch the texans win a meaningless game at the end and have someone in front take him, or O'brien will stick with Hoyer, because he feels he is consistent. This franchise seems to have a refusal to draft a qb early.
Goff just made a perfect throw under pressure that should've gone for a touchdown, but it bounced off the receiver's hands and was picked off.
When it's an eight yard pass and Mallett throws the ball like a Nolan Ryan fastball. Yes, I think Mallett deserves part of the blame when it bounces off the receivers hands. Mallett throws every ball the same speed, whether it's a five yard pass, or a fifty yard pass. I've seen all I want to see of Mallett. And I was someone who wanted him as the starter this year. Actually, I've seen all I need to see of both Hoyer and Mallett. I would welcome Goff.
That's not what happened last night. Either way, I'm with you, I'm done with them both, the season is over and they should both be gone before next season. As to Goff....I don't like picking QB's this early, there's still a long way to go.
Yikes, I stopped watching and he threw 2 more picks? Does anyone know how they happened? Were they his fault or was it another situation where a WR messed up?
Ouch. 4 picks in the first half. We could get him later than we thought. I saw the third. The third was an thrown into coverage and the db made a play. He may have possibly overthrown a different receiver and threw into another covered WR. It was hard to tell. The fourth, I saw. It was deflected.
It's snowballed a bit for him... But I'm still on board. He started out great and has had some drop issues - one led to interception, a missed TD. Think the whole team was pressing a bit in the last 5 minutes. I think he'll respond. And it's good learning.
