Lol... Stop assuming that he wouldn’t of scored if he wasn’t jacking up 3’s!! I can assume that he would’ve gone 8-8 shooting 2’s or gone 16-16 at the foul line...

lol @ anyone who thinks Harden was stat-chasing at the expense of a win last night.

Harden was bucket-chasing like he always does. Shoot the 3, drive, or pass, just like always. He has a 38-point, near triple-double "off night" and half of Clutchfans think he's exhausted from being overworked by MDA while the other half thinks he's selfishly chasing stats.

We can disagree with his intentions, but going 1-17 from 3’s is inexcusable! The only reason he gets a pass it’s because he’s “Da Beard”. He has a plethora of offensive moves at his disposal, primarily his driving to the lane and getting fouled! That’s the main reason fans from other teams hate him so much, he can get to the free throw line at will!!

But, that’s my take, and I respect yours..,.

He is stat chasing, always is...doesn't mean he wasn't trying to win.

So "how about we try to go on a TEAM WINNING STREAK instead of chasing bullshit numbers" means he was trying to win? Because it sounds like you're saying exactly the opposite.

Not every game is the same game and not every one against the Magic is a great game.

A LOT of players in the NBA stat chance in the course of a game and season. And it generally happens within the flow.

But I 100% disagree if you are saying Harden was "stat chasing" at the "expense" of trying to make winning plays to win the game.

My point exactly! Not every game is the same, you adjust according to what is working and what is not.

Regardless, it was a loss, time to move on....

    Go Rockets!!!
