Is over, how about we try to go on a TEAM WINNING STREAK instead of chasing bullshit numbers.

    thats not how CF rolls!

It's all about silly little streaks and analytical data that people can use to argue greatness - instead of focusing on and actually achieving greatness... lol ;)

This game was in the bag BEFORE tipoff! No way we should lose to a G-league team!! But it was painfully obvious he wanted to continue his 3pt stat line and THAT cost us the game! This was not an MVP performance from Harden, it was more of a Westbrick performance!! Regardless, he's our GOAT and we'll go as far as he takes us....

    Go Rockets!!!

    You're wrong

His shot was off, ask any expert and they will say that shooters just need to keep shooting.. which he did

I say you are wrong because Harden wasn't forcing those three's, all of them were pretty good shots to take. If he was jacking up 3's in inappropriate situations while other guys had much much better looks it'd be a different story and I'd agree with you. He didn't though so you are wrong.

This is not the NFL. One loss won't kill you. So if you have a high-probability play, such as the Harden step-back, your best bet is to use it a lot, with the understanding that sometimes it will suck for a whole game. Over the long term, the numbers shake out in your favor.

There are times when bad 3-point shooting for a whole game will end your season. WCF Game 7, cough cough. But in the regular season, don't freak out on those nights when the dice don't roll our way.

Him shooting a lot of threes is what got us the winning streak. Why would he not continue doing it. As was said, you shoot your way out of it.

Not a big deal but yeah 1-17 from 3 is pretty ugly

It wasn’t ugly! Some people think shooting 5.9% from the three point line is kind of sexy!!

If it was anyone else going 1-17 from 3’s, there would be a riot! I love Harden, but I’m not going to give him a pass and ignore the obvious! Whether they were open or contested 3’s, you adjust to what is working and what is not working!! His shot was off?? Ok, ADJUST!! Harden had been doing this, until he got bit by Westbrick and started looking at the stats!!

    Go Rockets!!!

It's good that this streak is over so he can concentrate on winning rather than chasing empty stats.

It was bound to end but 1-17? Hopefully he bounces back tonight. It was a odd performance given he was 10 of 15 from anywhere else besides the 3 point line which is incredibly efficient

He's been 0 for before and then rattled in 3 straight. An off night is an off night only after the night is done. Shooters are going to shoot.

When should he adjust his game when his shot isn’t falling?? We already agree that he had an “off night”, does 1-20?? 1-30?? 1-50?? When do you stop shooting 3’s in order to give your team a shot to win the game?? If he shoots 1-17 from 3pt again tonight and we lose, do we give it another blind eye??

He’s an elite finisher at the rim AND a foul magnet! He doesn’t solely depend on shooting 3’s!! But of course if he stops shooting them he won’t make HIS quota at the 3pt line!! Winning at the expense of hurting your stats is a true measure of an MVP!!

    Go Rockets!!!

I think that's for him to decide. What's different about one shot versus another? You think these guys start to doubt themselves at any point? If he loses confidence in his shot then the team is really screwed

Actually the team is screwed when you continue to throw bricks! No matter if you’re the reigning MVP...

We have different opinions, let’s leave it at that.

The last time we played the Magic Harden started off 0-8 on 3s, then went on to hit 5 of his next 6, including one to ice the game, and scored 60. I'm sure you would've had him stop shooting when he was 0-8.
