19/25 shooting 7/8 from 3pt land 13 assists 11/12 FTs Best performance by any NBA player this year so far. Bradley Beal had and awesome game tonight too. He scored 38 on 26 shots. Harden had 18 more points on 1 less shot. Just amazing.
This time they can't even b**** about him doing it with 20 free throw attempts. Refs swallowing their whistles this year.
so anthony davis and chris paul are not better than harden.. who am i kidding of course they arent lebron, kawhi, harden, curry in that order
Completely a ridiculous performance from the beard. Besides Lebron, I don’t know who has ever been this efficient to over 50 points.
He's gonna have a 60+ point game soon. He could've easily had 60 tonight but he took his foot off the gas. But the way he's shooting it right now, mix in some more free throws and he's going to be breaking a league record soon
Harden: 8 Midrange, 8 Threes, 9 Layups, 8 Free Throws Three of these things belong together Three of these things are kinda the same But one of these things is not like the other Which one will Maury say ... which one will Maury say. 4-8 Midrange 7-8 Threes 8-9 Layups 7-8 FTs Seriously though. That chart is against the DPOY. That's a good spread against his Drop-Back defense. Like 2015 balance, but with more threes.
Harden raised his ppg by 2.7 tonight. If nothing changes, he'll go from 6th to 2nd in scoring leaders. He took only 31% of the team's shots tonight, but scored 41% of the points.
Are you an HP machine? Damn you pull stats quickly glad he shot some midrange to mix it up. All round game! Probably Harden’s best ever
James Harden hits 7 of 8 from 3 en route to career-high 56 points http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...ts-scores-career-high-56-points-win-utah-jazz HOUSTON -- James Harden set a new career high with 56 points in a spectacular shooting display in the Houston Rockets' 137-110 win Sunday over the Utah Jazz. Harden was 19-of-25 shooting, including 7-of-8 from 3-point range. He also recorded 13 assists, accounting for a total of 91 points. Harden's 56 points marked the second-most in a single game in Rockets franchise history, behind only Calvin Murphy, who poured in 57 during the 1977-78 season. A Jazz defense that ranks among the league's stingiest was shredded by Harden, who was spectacularly efficient shooting off the dribble. Harden made his first 10 shots from the floor. He was 19-of-22 before missing his final three attempts and checking out to a standing ovation from the Toyota Center crowd with 7:32 remaining in the game. It was the sixth 50-plus-point performance by Harden, all coming over the past four seasons. He eclipsed his previous career-best total of 53 points by the end of the third quarter, which he finished with a driving layup in the last second. Harden, last season's MVP runner-up, had 22 points on 8-of-8 shooting in the first quarter. He hit a pair of 3-pointers in the final nine seconds of the frame, crouching for several seconds after hitting a pull-up 3 over Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio to beat the end-of-quarter buzzer. Before Harden, the only player to drop 50 in a game for coach Mike D'Antoni was Amar'e Stoudemire, who finished with 50 points as a member of the Phoenix Suns on Jan. 2, 2005, against the Washington Wizards.
