Because cp3 was injured for nearly half the season? And harden is the best shooting guard in the league...

Paul should not even be here with all the games he has missed, he just came back from injury. + if it was not in NOLA there is good chances that he would have skip the ASG imo.

Agreed w/ this although I can't stand CP3. He's probably played better than Curry IMO but due to his injury, he'll probably be taking it easy. Harden deserves it but not as much as CP3 this year.

Oh well though I'll take it :)

The reason is CP3 shouldn't really even be playing due to his injuries in the first place. Wouldn't be shocked if he's on a 10 to 15 minute minutes restriction in the first place. The ASG is for the young stars in the league.... go ask Duncan and Tony Parker.

The ASW is for the young guys to build their brand, and build the NBA brand for the next generation of stars while the veterans get healthy enough to compete at a high level the last stretch of games and into the playoffs.

CP3 just needs to be worried about taking his team deep into the playoffs, not winning the ASG MVP or making more State Farm commercials.

Harden is the rising star and Chris Paul is back from injury.

-Harden is healthy now, CP3 is/has been hurt recently.
-Harden is quite younger than CP3
-If Harden was injured right now, I might not even want him playing in the game as a fan of the Rockets knowing that him getting healthy going into the final stretch of the season is more important than the ASG.

Cp3 has been injured. Meanwhile Rockets have just won 7 straight and are now in the third seed and Harden doesn't deserve to start? Cp3 misses 20 games, his team still wins so is that proof that he is an All-star starter or is that proof that Griffin is the real leader of the Clippers?

He missed 18 straight games. He didn't deserve ****. Harden at the most this season sat out 3 games in a row.

Im sure he will hobble his way on the court long enough to get some sick alley oops and no look passes. However, if you are a fan of the Clippers you want his a#$ getting healthy more than getting a few highlight at the ASG.

Im not a fan of the Clippers and its completely obvious to me. CP3 has much more riding on the playoffs than he does on the ASG. Get healthy CP3.
