IMO this is the best season any guard has had. T-Mac had a couple of seasons that were statistically similar, but he was never close to Harden's efficiency.

As for Rockets career, its hasn't even been 2 seasons. Clyde, Murph and T-Mac certainly did more. But when it's all said and done Harden will be the best.

What about KMart? ;) He had 23.5 points a game on super efficiency and led a team of washed up players and just hustle players (not much talent) to a winning record!!!!

The way Harden is playing right now and if he continues to get better year in and year out. Yes sir he will be the best SG in Rockets History.

    Yes he did.

He was injured, yes, but there was no effort from him at all, like he didn't give a damn anymore. Doesn't help that he was rooting for the Lakers in the playoffs.

Peak to peak wise statistically, these two seasons have been the best two seasons by a Rocket guard ever, even if you include McGrady. In fact, I think you could even say the greatest two seasons by a non-Center Rocket ever.

So you're saying mcgrady would not be able to take this team to the second round?

The difference between a healthy mcgrady and harden is mcgrady does a abetted job of finding his teammates when the defenses collapse on hip. Jog said he was the best wing passer in the game. His vision was second to none.

I love Clyde. And I loved TMac. My first instinct was to say HELL NAW! But....... Both Clyde and TMac had their Rockets HeyDays playing with a center that commanded a double team. Dwight is a good rebounder. Good shot blocker. But let's be honest about his post game. Close your eyes and picture Harden with the ball top of the key and Dream triple teamed. Now picture TMac triple teamed at the top of the key because D12 is in single coverage and being bullied off the block by Perkins or Cousins.

Mcgrady was a SF don't u fools remember Sura Wesley Mcgrady Howard Yao.

When he moved to SG all he averaged was 22-23 Ppg often hurt, never won a playoff series or led this team to the kind of record this year's rockets will have.

Hardens step back is looking nice, but i still prefer tracys turn around j and his ability to rise above his defender any time he wanted to knock down the jumper.

These are the shots you need to hit in the 4th quarter of playoff games to win. Officials can decide to let them play and that means driving wont get you the w unless you can finish like shaq. Tracy may not have the largest sample size, but he performed when he made it to the playoffs.

    Take over tinman.

By that logic, Tracy should not be num 1, but Clyde. Since Clyde helped get the chip and Tracy... Well Tracy did not.

Too bad Tracy's crowning achievement in Houston consists of only 35 seconds. His actions/non actions in that Raptors game really put a damper on his memory here. Btw, maybe leave Tracy out of Harden and Clyde conversations since he played Forward with us.

Clyde and Harden. Top 2 guards in Rocket History.
