That's the right call. He should be suspended. Harden is a bball hero of mine (on Mt Rushmore levels), but I do not (and will never) understand how a man can be on his back on a court and start kicking up at perps. That's such a girly thing to do. Only thing worse his pulling a guy's hair in an on-court throw down. Actually, in any situation, I don't see myself on my back kicking up into the air like a girl. Unless the perps are grizzlie bears or mountain lions, I am not kicking up into the air. I am trying to get on my feet. Sorry Harden, p***y move. I don't think you intentionally tried to kick him in the balls, but all basketball players should know that if you start kicking up in the air like a girl, you will get suspended if you kick someone in the balls. It was more in intentional than what harden did. He was trying to start something. Harden pushed off where two guys were coming at him.
Let me repeat...there is no reason, never, ever, that I can think of in an officiated civil situation to ever be on your back and kick up into the air like a girl. If you do that in the NBA, and you kick someone in the balls (intentionally or not) it is a suspension. It's not in the rule books, but it is what it is. And further, I can't think of ANY situation where'd I'd kick upwards while on my back. Unless the perps were Grizzlie Bears or Mountain Lions. I love Harden...but that's definitely suspension for being a girl on a man's court.
He didn't but he did put the majority of his weight on Bev. LBJ is a heavy 250. That's a lot of mass to on your chest, especially when LeBron is trying to use you to push himself off the ground.
I think you guys need to take off the homer glasses. Anything to the balls is worse. I like Harden, but come on man going for the balls is weak. He should have got up and went face to face with Bron and then got pulled back, that would have been awesome. Now, instead everyone hates Harden again and will point to this video for months and months as a reason to hate Harden and justify calling him a p***y. That being said if you guys were arguing about technicals and that LeBron should have gotten two this game, then yes. I will 100% agree with you there. That guy can yap at refs all day and never get a tech.
Expected this. However, even if they don't want to punish Lebron....I wish the media would at least acknowledge Lebrons push against Bev. No, I don't think he should be suspended for it, but it was a cheap play, but everyone seems to be silent on the subject come media wise.
Lebron was worthy of 2 T's through the course of this game. It's not debatable. They should have kicked out Harden and Lebron. That would have been a very entertaining decision as well.
