James harden questionable for Sunday with cervical strain

Someone might have to trick James to stop him from playing. Tell him Daylight savings comes thrice a year and set his clock back so he misses the call time.

James need to rest and Eg and Cp3 can get the job done. At this point guys need to get comfortable in their roles so they can hoop at a high level. One of the key things i want to see is Cp3 and Austin sharing minutes at the 1 and Faried sharing with Pj at the 4 and Nene at the 5. House will get to the basket and hit threes against the timberwolves

 

Sounds like CP3 needs to impart some wisdom unto Harden regarding 'the big picture...'

I'm all for this until James is really fit. Rivers needs to get aggressive and play like House.

 

Tonight's results have me reluctantly agreeing with the rest request. Harden no doubt wants to play but give him a week (or two if we roll). Health is priority.

This would be a good week to rest James. Rockets have 3 games in the next 4 days. Wolves, Hawks, and Grizz. If James needs time to heal, these 3 games are as good as any. He can return Friday vs the Spurs if he is ready by then.

James is an iron man, but he is human. I hope the organization, can convince him to take a few games off. This injury is starting to concern me a bit.

 

Can a gentleman even get cervical strain? I thought only ladies have the necessary part.

 

If he's questionable that means he'll play over 40 minutes.

 

He's definitely had that for a while. It's not a coincidence his shooting has been off for a month now because of it.

 

I don't know if rest helps or not, but if it does they need to force him to do it. We won't win in the playoffs with him shooting like he has been. I know we want the third (or 2nd) seed, but the most important thing here is that Harden be able to play well in the playoffs. No way to know if it's the neck or wrist that has tanked his shooting, but his shooting has tanked. Let's try to get him healthy and refreshed.
