That's very disrespectful and hypocritical of Tracy McGrady to say that there's one minute left in the game, so he shouldn't be in the game anymore. NBA players stat chase. Every single one of them. It's not every day that a player gets to score 30 points for 30 straight games. It's similar to getting a 50 or 60 point game. If a NBA player is at 49 points, and they have the possession and have nothing to lose by shooting the ball one more time then they will shoot it almost every single time. That's the nature of NBA players. You think any NBA player will have 26 points, 12 assists, 10 steals and 9 rebounds, and sub themselves out with a defensive possession left with a 15 point lead? How many times do players get jokingly mad at their team mates when they are one rebound way from a triple double, and don't get that last rebound? These type of things don't matter, but they're nice to have. Playing out another 24 seconds isn't going to make a huge difference. It's such a petty thing to dig at.
