Did Allen Iverson win a championship?

8 post seasons and he reached finals only once...

    2 2nd round exit and 5 1st round exits...

I don't think that is the road you want the rockets to be taking...

All-NBA team does not go towards him being a SG. It takes two Guards, Harden is the only SG on there because of that reason. He wasn't in competition with Kobe or Wade...he was in competition with every single PG and SG in the NBA and it's been deemed that he's one of the best guards in the NBA, like it or not. And apparently he's done this while barely trying at all.

The fact that Harden was #5 in MVP voting clearly showed this wasn't some "best player at weak position" type of thing.

If Harden can prove to commit to defense and aggressiveness then I will admittedly eat arse, let's just say I'm hoping he proves me wrong.

It was a joke. My point was if a surefire future hall-of-famer had a crummy shooting percentage for his ENTIRE CAREER, maybe we can forgive our superstar for having a bad 5-game stretch?

It's funny how Harden is now supposedly the guy who can't be watched...but while he was on OKC "One of the most exciting young players!" ESPN used to always tout.

Either ways, Harden is better than Curry.

Funny how much hate he gets and Dwight got this year. The general basketball forums are having a hissy fit all over the net because the Evil Harden got a little respect.

    For the love of humanity
Just because you criticize someone doesn't mean you hate, he has it coming because supposedly he is our best player. If we have two 1st all team players then we shouldn't lose in the first round

He tries on offense and he's very good at it.

It does help to be considered the greatest at your position though.. the title just sounds better. Duncan knows all about that with his fraud PF moniker.... 6th Best Center doesn't have the same ring, ya know? Harden is great offensively. Wished it would've translated better the last 2 postseasons, but hope isn't lost. He's young.

You're right he wasn't in competition with Kobe and Wade. They missed too many games.. lol. Still great see a Rocket get the honor.

    I couldn't agree more.
I find it interesting how some people are more than happy to go all in on the negative (and to be fair Harden has earned his share of criticism) but turn a blind eye when credit is earned and due.
Harden had a dominant regular season and hence is well deserving of this regular season award.

Rockets and Clippers are the only teams that had two guys on the 1st and 2nd teams, which is supposed to mean top 10 players. Neither team got to the conference finals.
