I wonder how JVG feels knowing Les hated his style of play all along and now he has what he wants with an "offensive juggernaut"

he gives props so it must be all respect

He deserves it. What I don't get about the ladder are names like Zbo and Josh Smith.

JVG has changed a lot since his days as a Riley disciple. You can tell from his TV gig that he has a much broader perspective of everything. Also, JVG wanted to run a high octane offense. He kept telling the Rockets to push the pace in games(you could hear him). But he didn't have the players.

I still think to this day that JVG and Morey would be a great fit. And if McHale retires after this contract(he is fairly old), I'd love for JVG or his brother to coach this team.

So how long before we start chanting MVP when Harden shoots free throws late in games?

I really like JVG as an announcer but would hate to have him as a coach again. He stresses defense and micro manages the offense. His system intentionally slows down games as a way of controlling the score and keeping other teams out of an offensive rythem. He always preached running but his system is not and never will be conducive to running.

I'm not sure Les hated his style. IIRC, for Les, winning comes first, even if it's slower paced. He just prefers a faster pace.

It seemed everytime we did that for Mcgrady, he missed LOL.

Harden's game is so beautiful to watch. Guy should only get better.

I am lazy to search for it but I am sure Lowry was better in that stretch than Ariza.

Yo... Morey thought he would be an Allstar prospect as McGrady thought he could make StroSwift an Allstar
