must be code for 30/20/70 club. i dont think he'll ever shoot 70% from the ft line, but the 30/20 isn't far fetched

If he's at a party right now, he's at risk of being in the 0-3 club.

Making the 40-30-80 club might be a challenge.

    Too much talk

    "best player in the world"

    "I deserve MVP"

    "50-40-90"

At this point 40-30 looks to be a while away

is what I have to say about Harden's chances at his 'goal' that he probably barley worked on in the off season.

lol. Sounds about right. If you read what I actually said and then not twist it to fit into your delusional homer bs, that would be cool too.

I said he had the talent, seeing as how he has cleared or came very close to the 50/40/90 benchmarks in different seasons in his career. I also said he would never be able to do it on this team as the go to guy.

    So yay weeee delusional homer!

Also for all the Harden bellyaching I thought I would offer up some info:

    Last years runner up MVP

    Points: 27.4
    Reb: 5.7
    Assist: 7.0 Assist % 34.6
    Steals : 1.9
    TO: 4.0 TO% 14.9

    On .440/.375/.868 and a .605 TS%

This season outside of those putrid first 3 games

    Points: 32.8
    Reb: 6.3
    Assist: 6.5 Assist% 34.9
    Steals: 1.9
    TO: 5.2 TO% 16.3

    On .439/.364/.885 and a .612 TS%

The dude has been back for a while now and I think it's hilarious how fast people turned on the guy. He's got to take a little bit better care of the ball and consistently be at least to his defensive level from last year(which I think we have seen more of lately), but Harden is back to being a top 5 player in the game and has been for a little while now. Don't let that terribly small sample size of **** play blind you to what's happened since then.

Ah, yes, the "See, the stats show actually been good!" It's the same thing that happens when people are like "See, look at the stats! Harden wasn't that bad against the Clippers or Portland actually!" And... um... 3 games of 16 is not something you can just magically make "disappear". The thing with Harden, even if he does his usual play making, his defense and poor off-ball movement still hold this team back.

You have to be kidding yourself if you think Harden has been anywhere near the level of last year. But yes, he's starting to get back into doing some Harden things. It's why we have stopped getting blown out all the time. Yay!

Defense? Did you say Harden was playing defense this year?

I didn't say make them dissapear. I'm saying and have been since the beginning was his bad start was just a bad start. Not what we were gonna get from him the entire season, that his numbers were going to normalize and that's turned it to be true. And the sad thing is people think he's still basically been the same crap all year when the stats and just plain watching him play say otherwise. It's pretty funny how people laugh and explain away stats when it doesn't fit with what they are seeing. The stats are the stats. We were happy with his shooting numbers last year, yet for some reason we aren't happy with those same stats over most of this year.

You are mad at the team and mad at how Harden started that you are blinded to just how well he has played since that ****ty 3 game start.

It's obvious he has been more turnover prone thus far, but I'd bet by seasons end the numbers settle back to his usual and by every means acceptable level rate of turnovers he has been. The defense especially in the beginning of the season was atrocious just like just about everyone on the teams defense. But it has gotten better, at least the effort, since those first handful of games.

The teams shooting and defense as a whole has been the main difference in this year to last years results. People keep putting Harden atop our list of problems when it's been far from that for the majority of the season.

Some no knowledge kool aiders thought he could do it

Never mind he has not hit even one of those marks in a single season, let alone hitting 50-40-90 all in one season
