This team is so fragile that they can not win game without JH or CP. it only means this is not a good, reliable team.
He won us the lakers game. Almost won us the clippers game where he single handedly brought us back and had he not got injured in the Utah game we probaly would have won. With harden you always have a chance. Every year he puts this team on his back and gets us 50 plus wins a year
Yup. Dude should have 3 MVP. Harden should sit out the year and show everyone how great he is. This team can't score 85 points in today's NBA. How bad of a team are you if you can't score 85 points. The entire offense is HARDEN. This guy is incredible...on offense
He’s the 2nd best player in. NBA behind Lebron imo. He drastically is the difference between a chip level team and a Sacramento level team
But he needs lethal and athletic scorers around him. At his best he wasn't the scorer Durant is or Lebron could be. He can give you 15 assists per game but he rarely scores 40. Therein lies the problem. He is a pure point but he needs other people. Harden is a combo guard, he does not need others to score on his own, he needs them to win the game though.
Harden has scored 40 plenty of times. My only problem with harden is deep in playoffs when we have had no 2nd option Ala Spurs 2017, or game 6 and 7 vs warriors when he has been shut down. Other than that, harden has given me everything I want from a top 3 nba player
Harden routinely torches Portland, and a 40 point game from him could’ve overcome our trash defense and lifted our offense up enough to win this team looks horrible, but Harden’s offense will be able to mask the defensive ineptitude against many teams during the regular season...that’s how the year is gonna be I have tossed any hopes of a title with this current squad in the trash

Every team looks bad without their best player except the warriors so the struggles are not that strange. The massive losing is odd. We’ve played decent teams besides the lakers who suck, but no elite teams. You would think we would have atleast 1-2 more wins and be sitting at 3-3. That’s whats alarming, teams this talented should not be 1-5. But I’m with whoever said harden would lead that lakers team to the WCF. Harden would ball out with that group. Kuz and Ingram would be getting so many open threes. I’m a big Lebron guy but I’ve been saying harden impacts the game more than him for the past 2 seasons. Harden would have taken those cavs teams to the finals the last two seasons no doubt. Harden wins more and quite frankly has had much better success against the warriors the past few years besides the one fluke chip the cavs won. Harden powers a better offense and ironically better Defense the last couple years. Lebron gets the goat label over harden the past few years because his FG% is higher than harden but the TS is largely the same the efficiency is largely the same. Imo Lebron hasn’t been the best player for 3 years now. He’s still top 4-5 but harden Durant and curry impact winning more.
