It doesn't say one of the best, it says the best. I think Davis is a beast but you can't be the best player in the NBA and not make the playoffs. No sir. It's hilarious how hard it is for the media to give credit to Harden. He's having the best year of any player in the league without question.
Meanwhile... Harden is putting up his numbers, while being coached by one of the worst two coaches in the league. And leading his team to the Playoffs. Potential home court mind you.
Yeah, although I don't like OKC, but I cant stand the arrogant **** of **** warriors. I want them to fail.
Harden is just amazing. Said this on twitter earlier, but I literally run out of things to say/type about how good he is -- and he makes it look absolutely effortless. We are all witnesses.
You had one shot at this..... If Harden's the best player in the league, and the nba is the best league in the world, Harden would be the best player in the world! Thread title needs to be changed, until so I reward you no stars.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>James Harden has scored 85 points, dished out 17 assists, and grabbed 21 rebounds in the last two games (Suns and Blazers). That’s not bad.</p>— Zach Harper (@talkhoops) <a href="https://twitter.com/talkhoops/status/565373427859873793">February 11, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I disagree though, Harden isn't the best. He's among the best, but right now there isn't a clear cut best. The group Harden Curry James Durant Davis As of RIGHT NOW, it's a total toss up between all of them IMO.
If Brow can get NOP into the playoffs, he should be MVP. If not, it has to be Harden without a doubt.
Agree. Both Yao and Tracy had very good games and even elite stretches of games, but neither were as good or for as long as Harden has been all season long this year. Best Rocket since we had Hakeem in Hakeem's prime. Which was late 90's. Which means Harden is the best Rocket in just a little bit less than 20 years.
Amazing. Hardens 6th 40 point game this season. Pretty impressive. Oh and not to mention his 1 assist shy triple double which seems to happen a lot
Buy guys, he doesn't play defense on one of the 2 worst defensive teams in the NBA!!! I wish ROOT would just broadcast every game, and Bullard was there in Phoenix according to his twitter. I would rather hear Bill and Bull talk about Harden like he's the GOAT (which he's playing like right now) than hear stupid Shaq and Barkley rag on him and the team. Anyway, Harden is the MVP and MVB.
Are we really throwing Lebron in the way-side this quickly? It's his title until somebody can rival both his regular season and playoff performances. Harden has yet to do one.
I think Mchale is average not bottom 2. Monty is clearly worse. But hey, I'm good with harden being mvp, just trying to look objectively at it.
It is a privilege to watch him play. I haven't felt like that since I watched Hakeem and his MVP days. Harden is just that good.
