Kornheiser and Torres said Harden is the MVP on PTI.

So I feel like the Westbrook Harden angle is a lot like watching two bosses work. The first works frenetically, randomly, and without care or abandon. He's nuts and has free reign of the office now that his partner joined another firm. (Why'd he do that anyway?) He's alpha and insists he be involved in everything the company does and as such, the company suffers. He doesn't let his marketing team do anything without his input, insists he reviews all the payroll and contractor checks before they're cut and sent off, personally answers all of his phone calls and stays in the office until 10:00 PM every day. He's a brilliant guy and fun to watch from far away, like a movie character.

The other is a CFO turned CEO, trusts his employees and his staff to make the right decisions. He points the ship in a direction and off it goes. He trusts others, trusts his board of directors and doesn't let his own mistakes get him down. He absorbs criticism for his employees and doesn't operate with a whole lot of fanfare. He just takes companies that are floundering and turns them around into profitable companies that can be made public after a few healthy years.

You'd center a reality TV show around the first, and if that's your goal, to be a blip in a Netflix documentary then that's your bet.

But you'd trust the second one with your investment and savings.

They also said Westbrook will probably win. They went on to say, harden has the most amount of pressure on him to win in the first round. Westbrook has zero.

I think that's all accurate. Westbrook is expected to lose and getting wins isn't even part of his MVP narrative.

I like that they both agreed that Harden's season is being overlooked.

I believe he has ties to OKC.

But no, not a close friend, but typical Westbrook fan ;)

Just remember, when people bring up that Kawhi won more games than Harden.......respond that they actually played in the same amount of wins

I want to see Giannis say **** it and stat pad his way to 60 triple doubles next season and Bucks finish 8 or 9 in seeding. He can do it if he wants

And the MVP better go to him since wins and seeding dont matter. Make a mockery of these dumbass voters

    Syllable Count 8

This is correct. Westbrook is Jesus and can do no wrong. Harden either beats him and it's expected, or loses and he gets clowned. No MVP either way, so ESPN is happy.

Hell...Westbrook will likely do this again next year. Is he going to win it again? Is this the new template?

Pretty much, the narrative will change to their convinience. If I was James and let's assume he gets a MVP in the future I would walk up on stage and tell them to shove the trophy up their collective ass.
