I'd like to see him improve his ability to finish in traffic. Sometimes the bigs down low get to him. Great that he's working on his game. Now work on that right hand, James!
Those guys are lucky that they have McHale teaching them the ropes. It is called de-pussification. Sorry Clutch.
You are the one reading it as racist. In any case, the whole respect factor has been uttered around here quite a bit and there are even people who make conspiracy videos on youtube about it. Was an unececessary comment, though.
Not sure if serious..... Harden is not just good, but great at a variety of offensive things (notice I didn't say defense). And "great players stick to what they're good at".... Like MJ and Kobe developing a mid-post game half way through their careers?
I would rather Lin work on developing a floater a la Tony Parker for all the times he drives in the lane and turns the ball over b/c he's expecting to pass even when no one is open.
lin should b working on dem jumpshotz and teardropz...he should throw it up after he gets a layup blocked. a damn shame harden punkin our pfs tho lol
This is wonderful. I think over time the Rockets pace will gradually slow down, and as that happens it will become more important to have solid post play. If Harden can add that to his game it will go a long way in future years even if it doesn't play big dividends this season.
Definitely. He plays like he's Russell Westbrook without Russell Westbrook's athletic ability. He needs to develop a game around his deficiencies.
Agreed. Personally I think they're working on Harden's post-ups at this point because his jumper has gotten shakier. Because so much of Harden's game is based on the drive and kick, I'd like Harden to have this option since I don't know that he is as explosive with the euro-step ever since he got that contusion and those time he twisted his ankles. Harden, being bigger/stronger than most SGs, might then use a post-and-kick instead of a drive and kick. Hopefully that preserves Harden into the playoffs. I don't think Lin needs a post game (yet, might be something for him to look into during the off-season) because his knee has been getting to 100% so his drives are more explosive and his jumper is one of the most reliable on the team.
