James Harden Drops 55 Points, 8 Assists, 10 Threes vs Cavs

I love Wilt, and what Harden is doing is very comparable. Probably lots of metrics showing it's even more incredible, or at least on par.

Now, if Harden just starts get 20 boards a game, we can talk. ;-)

FWIW...Wilt played against...Bill Russell, Wes Unseld, Kareem, whole list of great centers...none of whom were white. This is a big myth about him...that he didn't play against anybody. The reality is he just made whoever he played against look bad...often even Bill Russell (ie, greatest defensive center ever). An athlete the likes of which we will never see again.

 

Wilt averaged over 48 minutes per game one season. Those old-timers all averaged over 40 minutes.
