Damn, if he's obese that means I am too. I don't feel fat, I just feel lazy. Harden working on his fitness will pay dividends on the defensive end. I've been saying for years that he should take up boxing training. I will guarantee that pushing a proper boxing regiment will change both sides of his game. Boxing workout > any other workout (dance is probably a close second but would probably decrease machismo)
Better player: Kevin Willis or Charles Barkley ? Body fat percentage is a r****ded thing to mention when talking about performance. There are probably 150 basketball players in the league with a lower body fat percentage that average half his ppg.
He looks like he's in good shape to me - not sure where the obese comments are coming from. Harden's body type is never going to have him looking like Lebron. He's always going to be "wide" for lack of a better term - in other words, not broad shoulders and skinny waist/back like a triangle type of body. ..one thing I noticed is his dribbling looks really smooth - even smoother than he normally is with the ball. Seems like he has put in some work there and frankly that's a great idea for a shifty guy like him who's not going to blow by people, but CAN get people out of position with great ballhandling skills.
Maybe... prob myself included... but none of us are multi million dollar professional athlethes... jus sayin... apples n oranges n all... lol
