just curious...if an nba player get a long term injury in a drew league game, does his nba team need to cover his salary in the upcoming season?

I really want to know the feeling Morey gets when he sees harden gets hurt like this. Hardens gonna be responsible for his heart attack

    // Harden wins MVP
// Harden still grinding during the summer and not taking anything for granted.
// Clutchfans BBS posters tell Harden to rest and slow down
// Clutchfans BBS posters say "Harden is fat, work out bro!"
// Clutchfans BBS posters say "Why you at strip clubs, shouldn't you be working out?"

Let me know when the Rockets obtain that magical chamber where we can put Harden in bubble wrap and at the same time his basketball skills will be enhanced! Get on that Morey!

Harden plays Drew league every summer, he definitely looks fatter than before

    Yes and no.

The player gets paid but I think insurance pays out the money.

The Harden looks fat thing every summer is ridiculous to me.

This just in....his body type is not tall and lanky like Ariza. He is barrel chested. And quite frankly, THICC. Don't confuse "muscle mass" with fat rolls.
And frankly, you should be happy about his body type. Being "built like an ox" allows him to withstand the punishment game to game on driving to the basket.

Zoom in on this picture. Arms, shoulder, chest are muscular.

That's a tough break. It isn't PJ's fault. The floor was slick or his soles needed to be wiped down. But when that happens, there's no getting around it, you take the L regardless of the circumstances, that's just the etiquette.

Thank you. This "meme" is getting pretty tiresome. The summer of the Kardashian chick? OK. He definitely wasn't in the shape he should have been in starting the season, but continuing to claim that he's "fat" now is ludicrous, in my humble opinion. Like you pointed out, and I think it's obvious, myself, it's his body type. James in a 6'5" thick, strong, muscular dude, and we should be glad that he is.

Harden looking a bit too muscular. Probably should atrophy some, that way he can be more brittle.

Arguably, Harrell was the most valuable player we gave up for CP3.

Bev and Lou Will were going to be extreme luxuries on this team with CP3, Harden and Gordon taking the bulk minutes at the guard positions. Dekker really hasn’t panned out to be anything more than a solid bench forward and that 1st was the last pick in the draft.

Harrell would have been a nice piece to keep. Would have definitely been better than Black was this last season.

But if that is the most valuable piece you have to give up to get CP3, you do it lol

James will be feeling that pick from Harrell for a couple of days.

...and Windhorst said the Rockets are active in the trade market. CP3 is as good as gone.

At this point you'd think people would finally say "you know maybe there is something to him being built more like a football player and having outstanding durability", and stop looking at his body type like he's on America's Next Top Model.

The guy takes a beating every season, and always stays healthy while playing some of the highest minute totals in the league. I think whatever he's doing with his diet, and his workouts seems to be working just fine.

it's not a meme, he does look fat in the video and he was slower, even compared to previous year's Drew league videos. It's not even a bad thing, it's the off season, he's obvously not going to be in tip top shape.

there's no need to get defensive about it
