I just hope with the additional playmaker in Melo, Harden and Paul will be moving around and the Rockets wont have now three players all standing around watching each other do their thang.
Looks like Gerald Green and James Ennis were previously teammates we won't stop hearing about it once the playoffs start.
Lol, two pair of shoes. Talking about Trevor's output and then about transition offense as if Trevor was one of the best in transition Offense.
Come on now man. Before you guys make fun of Trevor Ariza at least do some research first. Trevor Ariza Transition Offense PPP %Pos %Percentile 2017-2018: 1.31 26.6% 88.3% 2016-2017: 1.16 27.8% 58.5% 2015-2016: 1.31 24% 85% James Ennis Transition Offense PPP %Pos . %Percentile 2017-2018: 1.16 24.7% . 61.5% . [DET] 2016-2017: 1.21 19.6% 72.1% [MEM] 2015-2016: 1.64 19.4% 99.8% [NOP]
Seemed like Ariza was ~80% from 3 in transition when he did not dribble and ~10% when he took a dribble to set up his shot.
He is a junkyard dog that will soak up heavy minutes in the regular season to keep Tucker & Melo rested.
He does have a slow release. But Ariza's was slow too. On the other hand, Gerald Green's and Carmelo's are lightning fast.
i'm really looking forward to seeing what this guy can do. I have never seen him play outside of highlight videos. seems like a classic undervalued Morey sleeper. If Morey can move Anderson for a versatile defender, i think there's a good chance that we can be better than last year. But until that happens, we'll be counting on Ennis for a lot.
The fact that Bzdelik coached Ennis in Memphis says something. He already knows what Ennis can do in his defensive system.
if i print up some "Bzdelik for prez" t-shirts, how many do you think i can sell to the Houston Rockets fan community. It would be an obsure item to be sure, but come on ...that would be a freaking great shirt.
