Uh, everyone seems to still blame EVERYTHING on Dolan, sure, the guy is beyond terrible, but he did give a lot more reigns to Phill than to pretty much everyone before, and Phill did suck monkey balls, so i don't know why is everyone shifting ALL the blame onto Dolan.
This is such sad news... The Knicks were one of the few things that made me laugh on TV. *Its always a sad day when your favorite comedy gets canceled But, I hope they bring in another catastrophy.
Good for the Knicks. And karma for Phil. You know, you can't deny he's a great coach with a proven record. But it never sat well with me how he always had to take potshots at other teams and players along the way. He had this one coming. Maybe it'll put a slight pin in his massive ego. Again, good for the Knicks.
Phil robbed the knicks just like everyone else robs that franchise. When Phil Jackson said he did not want to coach the Lakers in away games, it said to me that he doesn't give a **** about the NBA anymore and just wants the paycheck without doing the work. How the hell do you offer this guy such a high position after hearing that? Dumbass idiots
they should hire oakley for the gm job. he knows wusgood. or do everyone a solid and hire shack so we don't have to listen to him on tnt anymore.
Firing Phil is like closing the barn door after the livestock is already out. The new GM has his work cut out for him, He should get paid more than Phil did. It is a hell of mess to straighten up. If he can get the KNICKS in the playoffs by 2020 he should get a 20 million $ bonus!
Let's be real. Outside of the early 70s and 90s the Knicks have always been a clusterf-ck. This is par for the course.
Kentucky head coach John Calipari reached out to the Knicks through intermediaries to express interest in the Knicks presidency, per ESPN league sources. The Knicks do not have interest in Calipari at the moment, per league sources. Presumably, Calipari would want to coach as well if he took over as president. The Knicks parted ways with president Phil Jackson earlier this week. Current GM Steve Mills is handling the club's day-to-day operations and is expected to lead them through free agency.
Technically not "this decade," but Isiah Thomas was the Knicks coach and president less than 10 years ago. And that was some "funny ****"
Phil Jackson didnt do jackshit for the knicks. How hard is it to make a few calls about trades? Even the socially awkawrd morey sends text messages.
