You don't have to be an ex-player to be an analyst. Jalen is simply trying to use his clout to get ex-NBA players jobs after basketball and elevate playing in the NBA as somehow above all other professions and above being called names, etc. Anybody that calls Shane Battier an Uncle Tom needs a lobotomy.

Oh, and Jalen was a severe underachiever for his career too.

I think Jalen Rose was just trying to say that players have feelings as shocking as that sounds. They aren't emotionless robots.

Also, while Scalabrine looks terrible on an NBA court. He could still destroy everyone else. See Adam Morrison.

Shane Battier is a punk and hypocrite that I hope never wins a ring.

GOD! Stephen A. Smith is annoying. And what's worse is that they just brought him in to blow an idiotic argument to epic proportions...

I couldn't watch past Stephen A.'s non-stop yelling. Although, I don't see how Skip can come back from getting pwned so hard about 1.4 ppg.

Can't stand Bayless. Yet I watch the show to see if someone will make him look stupid. Unfortunately, ESPN will not let that happen, I'm coming to realize. They protect him at all costs. Put Bomani Jones up there for a few days and watch him make Bayless look like a fool. But no, we get the 2 Live Fools instead. When Bayless was on vacation, Bomani Jones was there for an entire week! You're telling me there's not a reason for him not being opposite Bayless EVER? And SAS has become Skip's little lap dog. It's really pathetic.

I actually agree. Part of being an athlete and getting paid millions is to take criticism for your play and actions. There is a line that shouldnt be crossed between reporters/columnists and athletes but Rose doesnt know where it is.
