Thats just not right, and every Houstonian should be ashamed of these individuals that think they represent this city and are "die hard Texans fans".

I understand being upset with the guy and even talking smack about him on the internet, and wanting him to lose his job. However, its a whole new level when you start making death threats and requiring a police escort. People need to get a perspective and know where to draw a line.

    Ok. I am beyond it.
Cannot put all the game on the muff.
I think we need to look at his and Walters total uselessness on offense too.
He is the goat and signature bad highlight.
    But
It became obvious T. J. Only trust A. J. In the passing game.
Which allowed the defense to lock on him.

After sleeping a day, I'm not as mad as jacoby anymore. Of course, the game could have been different but we still had momentum most of the game. I'm still angry at him but not as much.

    Where was Walters?

    Or Daniels or Dreesen?

    Casey Mia?

i'm surprised daniels didn't get more than 2 catches. Im not sure what they were doing to limit him but it really worked. I think a lot of it had to do with Ray roaming the middle. He was so good at reading and reacting to pass plays.

Still, it's amazing OD didn't do more

That comment scares me a little..either Kubiak is blowing smoke or he actually thought he did well this season. It seems like every time I saw him return punts it was for either a loss or no gain though, aside from the TD he got earlier in the year. He does so much for so little gain, and then he makes mistakes like last night.

But taking a look at punt and kickoff returns for the Texans... we ranked 7th in kickoff return average and 15th in punt return average. So Jacoby isn't the worst in the league I guess, but he's not as good as Manning is returning kickoffs. And his reception numbers are a little worse than last year's, despite being essentially the number one option for more than half the season.

Also interesting to see that Houston ranked 2nd in the league in number of punt returns but second to last in kickoff returns on special teams. I guess that comes with the defense only allowing 17 points per game. Makes me all excited to see what they can do next season.

I hate Jacoby Jones but burning stuff in front of his house and sending him death threats, that's disgusting behavior. He apologized and I'm sure he feels like absolute **** like he should. With that said I still want him cut.

[rquoter]Fan ire has been most vociferously directed at receiver-return man Jacoby Jones, whose botched punt early in the game gave Baltimore the ball at the Texans’ two, from where they quickly scored their first touchdown. Kubiak came to Jones’ defense.

“He made a mistake,” Kubiak said. “But he’s also made big plays for us through the course of the year. You’re not going to give up on a guy because he makes a mistake in a game. Yeah, it was a big mistake. There’s no getting around that. A lot of guys make mistakes in games and come back and make big plays for you. I try to look at the big picture on things. I know how far Jacoby has come as a person and a player.

“As a coach, you’ve got to believe in your people. Your players got to believe in each other. You’ve got to overcome our mistakes and that’s the great thing. We had our chances to overcome them. I know how much he’d like to have that play back, and we’ll give the chance to (put it behind him) when we go get going again.”[/rquoter]

Actually, I'm more surprised Dreesen wasn't involved more. I figured they would key on OD, leaving Dressen open in 2 TE sets.

That's exactly what it was.. even the commentators made that statement... before he took the snap he already made it up in his mind to go to AJ80. The dude was doubled and tripled-covered most of the game. He should have checked-down and utilized the TEs more for sure.

Don't know if this has been mentioned but even though Jacoby made a terrible mistake on that play, he did recover a fumble later in the game. That being said he sucks and it's time for him to go.

    This is a bit unfair.

JJ's mistake gave them 7 pts

TJ's mistakes gave them 10 pts and cost us a chance to tie.

Racker's miss was almost inconsequential. 20-13 or 20-16, we still need a TD.
