It's a pattern of behavior that cannot continue, yet it continued despite his pledges to "be better" and "make it up" to the fans. You can't wait until Ja or one of his posse seriously injures or kills somebody before considering it "a big deal".

Also, if the vast majority of people + his team + the NBA + Nike, Powerade and other sponsors think it's a big deal, it IS a big deal.

I was a big Blazers fan when Z-Bo played for them and he was completely out of control. He found maturity in Memphis. It was an amazing turnaround.

I'm thinking the same thing can happen for Ja that happened for Z-Bo. Ja hasn't done anything that has broken the law. IMHO, unlike Z-Bo.

We actually don't know that Ja hasn't broken the law (in this country, money hides a lot of sins), but that's besides the point.

Hopefully he gets his head screwed on like Z-Bo, stops the stupidity and goes positive from now on.

If not knowing whether a guy has broken the law or not is the baseline for making a trade then no trades would ever be made.

His baggage isn't what he's done. It's the size of that ball and chain the nba attached to his leg. One screw up and it's a season. One additional luggage bag is that he doesn't like to be told who to be, which makes the first piece of baggage dangerous.

The Grizzlies will welcome him back with open arms. He's a franchise talent. Get the rust out now. They would be better off losing, but they have enough with him to make a deep playoff run next year even without the better picks.

The check-ball testimony is mocking our legal system.

It would be funnier too if their numbers were 9-11

    There go my fantasy teams.

Also, anyone we can pick off the Memphis team now that they might as well go full tank mode this season?

This will help the Grizzlies in the end with the supreme pick, obviously, but only if Morant can comeback from this successfully.

yep good examples, once their athletic ability deserted them, they found it harder to attack defenses because no one respected their jumper

now russ is on a vet min contract, and wall is out of the league
