Watt is great, great for Houston, and great for Texas.

Sad to see such sorry state of affairs around him.

Might feel entitled to request a trade if management can't sack up.

Lol you texans fanboys hype him up way to much tbh. I wish you had a decent QB to take the continual talk away from watts GOATness and onto something else

Wow, so the editorial staffs of both SI and ESPN the Magazine are comprised of Texans fanboys?

I can only imagine what the hype would be like if Watt were doing this for New England, Pittsburgh or dallas.

"Texans fanboys" don't control who's featured on the cover of those magazines. His hype comes from his historic talent on the field.

He's already on more national covers than any other Houston athlete ever.... definitely the most "popular" any Houston athlete has ever been.

(again, this doesn't mean he's the "best ever" or most "accomplished"... he's just the most popular).

If he stays healthy JJ Watt very well may be the greatest defensive player in NFL history, and there is no hyperbole when I say that. Watt is on that level.

    Hey you. Shut up.

I shudder to think the state of this franchise without JJ. Even with him, we have to be one of the most boring ones.

Gotta thank the 49ers for taking Aldon Smith :)

Thinking about it, that was a great 1st round draft class: Cam, Von, Dareus, A.J., PPat, Julio, Tyron, Quin, Pouncey, Kerrigan, Fairley, Solder, Prince, Wilkerson, Dalton (2nd), Kapaernick (2nd) , Houston (3rd), Murray (3rd), Sherman (5th) YIKES!

If not for Locker and Gabbert being busts, this could have been one of the best ever.

This isn't the NBA. Players don't have the pull or leverage to make trade demands. Besides, J.J. doesn't strike me as the type of guy to give up on something. I will say that management has been piss poor though, and they need to sack up for many things OTHER than an impending Watt trade request.
