I'm not sure what you think that proves, here's a picture of one of the worst defensive short stops in the history of baseball with a gold glove award. Kuechly is a really awesome player, but if Carolina offered him plus a first rounder, I still wouldn't give them Watt.
I'm not sure what you are basing that on. My proof: 1. 2013 DPOY 2. ND Kalu and Greg Koch called around their NFL buddies one show and got a poll for "who is the best defensive player". Luke won. So what you personally think doesn't mean other people think that. And YOU are the BIGGEST contrarian of all time so don't put that on me.
In terms of impact on defense. There are a lot of people you could argue are more talented than Watt, but none of them impact the game like he does.
Well I would argue that those people are making a knee-jerk reaction. Kuechly is a very good MLB and I would say that there is an argument for him as the best MLB in the game, but to have the impact JJ Watt has had while being an interior D lineman is unheard of. With Kuechly you get some picks and a lot of tackles but what really separates him from other great LB's like NaVorro Bowman, Vontaze Burfict, or a healthy Brian Cushing?
JJ Watt is the best defenisve player in football. This 2 year stretch you could make a strong argument for greatest of all-time. He has been that good. But moreso than any other sport, defense in football is all about the unit. The impact one player can have is limited.
They also mentioned how Kuechly got some benefit because his team made the playoffs and JJ went 2-14. If you offered to start a defense to 32 GMs and they had their pick between Kuechly and Watt not one would pick Luke. Panthers included. This argument is crazy. Like saying Big Ben is a better QB than Peyton because he never got blown out in a Super Bowl.
Also, on NFL top 100 which is voted by peers as well, JJ Watt ranked higher than Kuechly, and last year Watt was ranked 5...among all players.

I hear the audio to JJ press conference, but the video is not working. Anyone else having this problem?
As good as Luke is there have been plenty of MLB's in the past few years who have been as good or better than Luke currently is. List me the amount of 3-4 DE's that have been as good as him and you probably stop at 1 or 2 if you even get that far.

Dude why did you post a Skip video. It even tricked me by showing brunell on the preview but then I gave skip another video view and feel dirty. His tarded-ness has already been explained in his tweet.
I get that he's a professional troll, but it's still hard to believe that Skip Bayless has a job talking about sports.
I for one hope ur right. Keep the hope alive! They also have us going 8-8 go figure, most ppl on here say we win way less. I said 9-7 and I'm sticking to it.
Well my prediction is 8-8 as well, but IMO that's not far from winning the AFC South, I think 9 wins is all it would take.
