kmart will probably start the season with the squad... expiring contract, hopefully he starts the season strong and regains some trade value...

scola likely gets moved before the season for expiring deals

thats how i see it playing out with those two

They can go right ahead and match. It's not a value contract and we are rebuilding. We'll see who's in a better spot 3 years from now when they are over the cap.

Asik is a waste of money. I hope the bulls match. Our roster is so awful right now that it is better to save the money and give us a better chance at a higher draft pick.

You can go sign Brook Lopez to a ridiculous contract and you definitely get him:grin:

Remember when we ridiculed the Knicks for several years when they put their team on hold to wait on 2010 free agency?

Morey not wanting to add 4 year contracts seems to be the same plan.

He's their restricted free agent, they can go over the cap to match.

So Donuts (220 something poor post defender) and Smith (6'10" in sneakers) are our centers? Ha... Ha... Forgot to laugh. McHale must be happy about that. :)

The Bulls are in win now mode. I don't think they are too concerned about three years from now.
