I think Melo makes his teams worse. He will negatively affect our regular season record.

That said the Warriors signed f**king Demarcus Cousins... I want Melo for two reasons. One, he will add drama and make the season more interesting. Two, gives us another legit 3pt shooter in the hoffz.

    My body is ready.

I used to think that, but I think it's more a case of him not elevating the players around him. When you have others on the team to do that, I definitely think he can make a team better. Even at this late stage of his career. I am on board!

Of course, I was on board with Ty Lawson, too.

And just to clarify, if we win under 65 games, it doesn't mean we got worse. Other teams just got better.

Season records are meaningless as long as you make the playoffs. Totally worthless. If you are the best team you should beat every team you face. If you do it from the 8th seed or the 1st seed, it matters not. Home court advantage or the Rockets is not necessarily a good thing. You are either the best or your not.

As a matter of fact as soon as we make the playoffs, I think we should partially shut down, rest and health are far more important.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but - Melo can't simply sign with us right off the bat at 5:45P (if that is a real thing) but can only declare his commitment to the team of his choosing, right?

I get what you are saying but not quite true. You don't want to be the 7th or 8th seed. Probably won't be an issue for us though.

Explain please, because that just doesn't make sense. What difference does the 3rd, 7th or 8th seed make? If the Rockets are the best they should beat everyone, no matter where they play. If they cannot do that then they are not the best. It is not a 1 game series where weird stuff can happen.

Oh, well there's just this one other team that is pretty good that I would rather not face in the first round. I like your confidence tho.

Nuggets got better when they drafted Melo, Knicks finally made the playoffs after trading for Melo. Thunder were basically the same team after adding him and PG.

This narravite that he makes teams worse is false.

    This is from April 2017

Winning Percentages Without their All-Star Forward

    61% - Blake Griffin's Teammates (51-32)

    54% - Kevin Durant's Teammates (46-39)

    44% - Paul George's Teammates (37-47)

    15% - Anthony's Teammates (9-51)

    And just for good measure:

    32% - Anthony Davis Teammates (24-51)

This during the Phil Jackson era at that. So over the course of 3 years, 9 wins without him and the Knicks averaged a little over 30 wins a year during that span and Melo is supposed to lead that team who couldn't do **** without him.

But I gotta hear about him making teams worse.

Here's the links so you guys don't think I made this up.
