If you land on a good team with a superstar already on board, you will lose stats. No **** sherlock. It's not about stats you moron.
The LeBron Effect ... clearly sucking the life out of his team for the last several years. Code: Lebron On Lebron Off Net 09/10 +11.1 -4.6 +15.8 08/09 +15.1 -5.9 +21.0 07/08 +2.3 -8.9 +11.3 06/07 +5.7 -2.9 +8.6 05/06 +3.8 -6.3 +10.1 04/05 +2.1 -7.5 +9.7
Other than Mo's 3p % increases, all other players and % drop across the board. And can someone sort out this stacked team but crap teammates after loss myth?
Off the top, Mo Williams had his 2 most efficient shooting seasons playing with LeBron. Last season, he posted the highest PER of his career and made the All-Star team. Ben Wallace was struggling in Chicago in his partial season with them in 07-08 and actually improved playing with Cleveland down the stretch. He also played several fewer minutes per game with them than he did in the last 10 years so looking at raw numbers doesn't make sense. He went to a bad Detroit team this season and got more minutes and touches. Larry Hughes is a head case and has had issues on and off the court. He's struggled with every team he's played for since his breakout season. Other than for 1 season (not even his breakout season), he's always been an inefficient scorer throughout his career. I'm sure you could find a similar set of players for Jordan and Kobe if you wanted to make this kind of argument against them. When you play with elite perimeter players, your touches and numbers are almost always going to take a hit.
LeBron has never had a teammate as good as Gasol. And without looking it up, I'm sure that you can find examples of players who have improved while playing with LeBron. Mo Williams is already one example. You are picking and choosing players to make your argument and there were all kinds of holes in your OP.
Yeah LeBron has been the one keeping these juggernaut Cavs teams from the playoffs. Question Where did Mo Williams lead Milwaukee? Where did Antwan Jamison lead Washington? Where did Larry Hughes lead any of his teams? Shaq not the same Shaq and he was hurt some this year.
The last and only player who would get a better contract after staying in Cavs was Boozer. Numbers don't lie.
Why do you keep reading my posts, ignore them, and then make **** up time and time again? I already told this troll 3 separate times about this. BTW, Big Ben averaged lower minutes too. Mo maintained his average in minutes and stats his first season. In his second season (this season) if you actually watch Cavs games, you'll know he was injured and came back still nursing it. You got me on Larry Hughes though. That guy was so awesome someone dedicated this site to him: http://heylarryhughespleasestoptakingsomanybadshots.com/2007/11/ I'm sure he's done much better after leaving the Cavs. Ohwaitaminute.
LeBron broke his will to play basketball. Its all LeBron's fault. He's like a psychological terrorist.
