Daryl Morey learns more about roster needs in the playoffs, regular season you don't see weaknesses until you play great teams.
3 point guards with length, height in the rotation, a lot of 6'8 Forwards at least 4 of them in the Rotation.
The Rockets have a lot of depth now. But Mike DAntoni is a stubborn 7 man rotation coach.
Will Melton be in the rotation at all, will Zhou Qi be a backup Center,

That roster is pretty good..we would get more than 65 wins.

 

is that how you interpret the article? More like "falling further behind" to me.

 

I could see if we lost CP3 or Capela but falling behind due to losing Ariza at this point of his career and we pretty much didn't even have Moute for the playoffs when you look at what he contributed.

 

I agree. Last season the Rockets had a .793 winning %

In the summer leage the Rockets have an .800 winning %

That's already an increae of .007% from 2017-18

SUMMERY... TUCKER IS AN UPGRADE OVER TREVOR STATISTICALLY, MELO GIVES FIRE POWER FINALLY FROM THE 4 AND IF HARDEN OR PAUL GO COLD HE AND EG CAN GO TO WORK, AND ENNIS AND MCW CAN SOLIDIFY THE DEFENSE LOST FROM LUC....

 

There’s really no way to tell how valuable how Ariza was to this team until we have to do without him.

I'm wondering if the Rockets can get MCW to be an effective shooter this off season. Work him behind the 3 point line until he starts knocking them down. Being on a team like this has a way of creating good shooters that normally would have trouble elsewhere.

Would love to see MCW create a pull up jumper (from Paul) ala Livingston.
