Rockets have the talent on paper to beat them in 4 games but they also have the procrastinating effort to lose this one.
I'm not thrilled; I know the Rockets have been hurt but it's been quite a while since I saw anything from them that indicates they'll breeze through this. I certainly think they'll be favored but it's time to pack a lunch pail. Hopefully having Ryno back helps a lot. I voted Rockets in 6 but I think it's much more likely to be Rockets/Thunder in 7 than Rockets in less than six.
Thunder are #2 in rebound differential just behind the Warriors. Rockets are middle of the pack at 14. That has cost us several games this season giving teams extra possessions after initial stops and could cost a us a couple games in this series. That's our weakness and we better tighten it up if want to make a legitimate playoff run.

I agree with you completely. The Rockets are a jekyll/hyde team. When they are fully engaged they don't give up rebounds and waste possessions. But it's concerning that they spent about a quarter of every game with their foot off of the gas, and then the remaining time is spent digging out of a hole or trying to sandbag a big lead that dwindled to single digits.
I feel like the Rockets are approaching the playoffs like a garbage truck backing up to a dumpster, sounding off with a "Beep! Beep! Beep!" while the driver takes a nap, assuming that the truck will take care of business. Our opponents aren't garbage, and we aren't so good that we can take time to yawn, much less take a nap. If we think we can sleep walk through the first round, or any round, playing like trash, then this team of fresh garbage isn't going to make it to the dump, much less the WC Finals.
