I believe he will be the best rookie if given the opportunity. 16.1 pts 8.5 rebs 2.2 blocks 1 steal Like the decimals?
Hey, I'm here to help!! I wasn't the one who said, "It's going to be alright b/c I hadn't made that bet that the Rockets were going to do anything ever again in the next decade." You can feed me all the bs you want about stating an honest opinion, but it's obvious that you think the Rockets are pitiful, which that's your opinion. But to say that they are never going to do anthing in the next decade makes me think that is something that reaks of skunk weed.
I don't think it's for the best, but I do think KT, if given the chance, will do better than many here are expecting. KT has good moves, decent defense, and can really pass for a PF. If those shots would just start falling, he could much of Taylor's job. He might already have better moves in the post. I think that spin move he does is frickin' terrific. Too bad he still misses the layup at the end too much . With the addition of Rice, mo's offense was rendered a bit less necessary. At least, we lost some of our strength instead of a deficiency. IMO, there are two difference makers on the Rockets. Both of those difference makers are still healthy. Rice and Taylor were the biggest two supplementary players, and now one of them is gone. I think depth is the biggest loss. Taylor was good in his versatility... (duh), and that's what can't be replaced.
Would people stop ripping KT. He plays hard, hussles for offensive boards, at least goes for the defensive boards even if he's too small to get them sometimes, he's got nice footwork, and while he obviously doesn't nail the outside jumper (or many others) he isn't the focal point of the offense or anything so he should at least be a serviceable starting PF. I for one am glad to see him get a chance at playing time (not saying I'm picking him over Mo T, just that KT at least gets a chance).
Manny, with posts like that you are well on your way to becoming a part of the "clique" that you hate so much.
KT's height factors only a little negatively on defense. He is a pretty good defender and he led the team in blocks per game with 0.58 in limited playing time. He GotGame! http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=hou
