http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/3418/michael-beasley His minutes in March suggest otherwise: 6th to 8th man with a couple of starts He contributed to us making the playoffs Considering he came in very late into the regular season: In March: 20.6 minutes 14.6 ppg and almost 6 rpg arguably the 2nd best talent during that time Only in the last 4 games did he see limited minutes due to JBB's love for Brewer
Sandwich KJ and Capela between those guys and that'd be an interesting lineup in spurts. I hope we see Harden at the 3 next offseason and hope MDA gets pretty creative with the versatility we potentially have.
Seriously people need to get up the modern NBA. Who is "starting" no longer really matter. What matters is total minutes played, and who is closing the game. Plus, given how often teams tend to play small ball now, why couldn't Harden, Gordon and Beverly all play at the same time for stretches.
It's not like Beverley is that much better on defense than Gordon. Plus, teams can jump load on Harden and take their chances with Beverley(even at his 40% from 3). Plus, maybe Gordon can help Harden with his turnover problem.
Everyone wants to either be the coach or the GM. Who to start. Who should be the 6th man off the bench or how the rotation should be set. Then we should draft this player, trade for this player or/and how Les should spend his money. Bwhahaha Coach MDA will figure all that out once camp starts. Both Coach and Morey will continue to upgrade the roster in the time being.
Do we have a game tomorrow? What channel? They'll figure it out later...we already know Harden is very much capable of running point, so there's no reason they can't play together..who starts is kind of irrelevant.
Their is no more prototypical positions in the NBA... You roll with the best players you have, the warriors are better with Draymond playing Center, Lebron playing Power Forward...Curry really isnt a prototypical point guard neither is Westbrook. You can even debate if Kyrie is a prototypical point guard, his team needs him to score.
Clutchfans has fallen off, the NBA has changed. And Morey actually did a good job this offseason. Remember this post.

I'll buy some of this, but not all of it. Certainly our poor shooting and rebounding and turnovers made for a lot of easy offensive opportunities for our opponents, and I'm sure that shows up statistically. But all they've really addressed is shooting. Our rebounding is now much worse. We didn't have much in that department to begin with so there's a personnel problem. And they've done nothing to address the turnovers. James is turning the ball over because he's being asked to do too much. We need a real point guard who can facilitate and distribute the ball, while taking care of the ball, and knocking down open shots. Someone who can take some ball handling pressure off Harden and allow him to play off the ball some. Beverly is not that guy. So right now the team is incredibly unbalanced and they haven't addressed most of the underlying issues they say contributed to our defensive woes. They've just added shooting.
I really do not understand what these guys r wondering all day. If they have spare time , why not get down to do some meaningful things?
