This is the whole point of public schooling. It was designed from the beginning to turn people into cogs. I suggest reading The Underground History of American Education for more details. This cognitive dissonance is interesting. We all know school sucks while we are there. We know they are turning us into cogs, but for some reason it's a good system.
It's a good system for $$.... not for humanity. Of course $$ will always exists, and people will have to make it, spend it, and all that... but that's all we care about really, and its not sustainable
